Education Bridge

SHABELLE supports high school students, youth and young working adults with their educational navigation, including applying to colleges and universities. We help students apply for financial aid and scholarships, and connect them with their school of choice.

Who we support

Two groups, one process

The questions are similar at both stages, even when the circumstances differ. Most families we work with are navigating the process for the first time.

High School & Youth

Students in the later years of high school working out what comes next, and the parents and family members helping them plan.

Young Adults

Young adults considering a program, a certificate or a return to education, and working out how to make that happen.

How we help

What Education Bridge covers

Each of these is part of the program. Most students use some of them, and the ones that matter depend on where they are in the process.

College & University Applications

Working through the application itself: choosing where to apply, tracking what each school requires, and meeting the deadlines.

Financial Aid Guidance

Understanding the aid forms, what the questions are actually asking, and how to compare offers once they arrive.

Scholarship Applications

Finding scholarships worth applying for and putting together an application that makes a realistic case for the student.

Essay Writing

Developing the personal essay and short answers, from finding something real to say through to editing the final draft.

Application Follow-Up

What happens after submission: confirmations, additional materials, interviews and staying on top of what each school still needs.

Training, Certificates & Short Courses

Guidance on shorter programs and credentials that lead somewhere useful, for those whose next step is not a four year degree.

How support works

One-on-one, or in a group

Some of this work is personal and needs individual attention. Some of it is the same information for everyone, and works better delivered to a group.

One-on-one support
Individual sessions for a student or a family working through their own applications, essays and aid forms, at their own pace.
Group workshops
Sessions delivered to a class, a cohort or a community group, covering the shared parts of the process: how applications work, what financial aid involves, and what the timeline looks like.

SHABELLE supports preparation and application. We do not make admission decisions, we cannot influence a school's decision, and we never promise a scholarship or an aid award. Those decisions belong to the institutions and the agencies that administer the programs.

Common questions

Education Bridge questions

When should a student start?

Sophomore year is a comfortable starting point, mainly because that is when course selection starts shaping which colleges are realistic. Junior year is when research and testing begin, and senior fall is when applications and aid forms are filed. Starting in senior year is not too late, but it is tighter.

Does SHABELLE guarantee admission or scholarships?

No. Those decisions belong entirely to the institutions and the agencies that administer the programs, and no organization can honestly guarantee an outcome. What we do is make sure you understand the process, meet the deadlines and present yourself accurately.

Can you help families who assume they will get no financial aid?

Yes, and this is common. Families who assume they will not qualify often have options they did not know about: merit aid, transfer pathways that reduce total cost, state programs, and community college routes to the same degree for less. Seeing the actual numbers usually changes the picture.

What if a student wants to work rather than go to college right away?

That is a legitimate choice. Apprenticeships, technical training, certificate programs and employment with tuition benefits all lead somewhere real. If a student wants to work first, the conversation becomes about keeping the door to further education open.

Do you work with schools and community organizations?

Yes. We deliver group workshops alongside counselors, advisors and community organizations. If that is your situation, get in touch through the Corporate Partnership page or call +1 (651) 706-7140.

How do I get started?

Call +1 (651) 706-7140, email info@shabellebridge.com, or use the form below. Tell us roughly where the student is and what feels uncertain, and we will follow up with a conversation.

Tell us where the student is

A short description is more useful than a long one. Tell us roughly where the student is in school and what feels uncertain, and we will start there.
